URLQ Season 2011 - Round 4 |
The 2011 URLQ competition is wide open thanks to a forfeit and a draw in a crazy night of Round 4 action.
The much anticipated, top of the table clash between the QUT Trouts and Griffith Panthers unfortunately never eventuated, due to the injury riddled Trouts forced into forfeiting their road trip, enabling the Panthers to sneak into the equal competition lead.
In other Round 4 action, the Bulls and the Dragons shared the points in a tough battle at a freezing cold Gatton campus, with the Bulls coming from behind to snatch a late draw, 16-all.
The competition endures another week off due to the EKKA show holiday in Brisbane, with the QUT Trouts hosting the UQ Gatton Bulls and the Panthers playing host to the Dragons in the ‘Battle of Griffith’ in Round 5 action.
